I had another long, brutal drive home today in wintry conditions to a hometown still buried by the blizzard and another storm is predicted! Not an ideal Christmas, but I got to spend part of it with A--and that's enough.

CDs listened to today:

  • Ludwig van Beethoven: The Piano Trios, disk 2
  • Louis Armstrong: Volume I: The Hot Fives
  • Johann Georg Albrechtsberger: Concerto in D for Trombone
  • Luciano Berio: Continuo
  • Marshall Crenshaw: Life's Too Short
  • Billie Holiday: The Quintessential Billie Holiday, Volume 7
  • Frederic Chopin: Polonaises, 1
  • Garbage: Bleed Like Me
  • Zbigniew Bujarski: Quartet for a House-Warming
  • Howard Hanson: Symphony No. 3
  • Korn: Issues
