It's my sister's birthday today. In my family, birthdays are a childrens' thing, so we don't observe them with a lot of fanfare. We're even intolerable around birthdays because she and I aren't really the easiest people to buy gifts for! After all, if we really want it and we can afford it, we would buy it for ourselves, right?CDs listened to today:- Arnold Schoenberg: Kammersymphonie
- Claudio Monteverdi: Ogni Amante e Guerrier
- Elliott Smith: XO
- Dave Holland: Conference Of The Birds
- Joseph Rheinberger: Nonet in E-flat major
- Norma Wendelburg: Sinfonietta
- UB40: Labour Of Love II
- Arthur Blythe: Lenox Avenue Breakdown
