It's my sister's birthday today. In my family, birthdays are a childrens' thing, so we don't observe them with a lot of fanfare. We're even intolerable around birthdays because she and I aren't really the easiest people to buy gifts for! After all, if we really want it and we can afford it, we would buy it for ourselves, right?
CDs listened to today:
- Arnold Schoenberg: Kammersymphonie
- Claudio Monteverdi: Ogni Amante e Guerrier
- Elliott Smith: XO
- Dave Holland: Conference Of The Birds
- Joseph Rheinberger: Nonet in E-flat major
- Norma Wendelburg: Sinfonietta
- UB40: Labour Of Love II
- Arthur Blythe: Lenox Avenue Breakdown
